Project Overview
JSA is the architect for multiple historic renovations at the nationally registered Preferred Manor, located in New Berlin, NY. Our work has encompassed a facility study and assessment, roofing replacement, interior non-historic wallpaper removal and new painting working with color specialists at Golden Arts Paints. We are in process of renovating bathrooms with a scheduled completion in 2018.
The Preferred Manor was built in 1860 and was once on the underground railroad system. It is owned by the Preferred Mutual Insurance Company and provides lodging for employees and out of town guests.
